I've seen a lot of positive buzz around this one but I seemed to somehow forget about it every time it wasn't flashing on my Twitter feed. Not a preorder from me but I might have to grab it when it comes down in price a bit.

Nice to see Matthew Gray Gubler in this also, big fan of him in RV & Criminal Minds!

As long as this is nothing like Warm Bodies I might be very interested...

For those interested, only a couple of start-up trailers for "Hector and the Search for Happiness" and "Obvious Child" are included on this release, and we are missing the commentary, featurette and deleted scenes the US got.

Audio is English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 with optional English HoH subtitles.

HA! What a surprise, looks like I'll be hanging on to my US copy.

I don't know what Koch's problem with special features is but the only one of theirs that I've seen with ANY is The Tall Man.

Must be an expense that they don't think adds to much more sales I guess. Their German operation seems to be much better.

What has really annoyed me is how bad some of their DVDs have been recently. Here is a screenshot I took from Wish I Was Here starring Zach Braff and Kate Hudson. For some reason, some of their new releases are awful NTSC->PAL transfers:

What is also annoying, is their Blu-rays have very nice 1080p trailers for titles they have released poorly on DVD only. I have bent their PR man about these issues, and he passes them on. Only time can tell.

On the plus side, the A/V was pretty good here bar some minor crushing. Not reference quality, but a solid 4/5 IMO.

Seems fair enough I suppose. I'm guessing they're not a massive company, It just bugs me a bit. I usually keep away from DVDs anyway and just import blurays. The joys of being region free.

Region free here to, but still buy a lot of DVDs because a lot of films I'm interested in (low budget fare) just don't get Blu-ray releases.

Default Life After Beth [Aubrey Plaza, Dane DeHaan] - February 2nd, 2015

I watched this tonight and wasn't that impressed with the story....it wasn't funny, it was hardly gory......it's a bit of a strange one really. It was shot well though and Anna Kendrick showing up was a plus 👍😍
