WILD is an upcoming biopic drama film directed by Jean-Marc Vallée (Dallas Buyers Club) and written by Nick Hornby (An Education), based on memoir Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail written by Cheryl Strayed.

The film starring Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon (Walk the Line) as Cheryl Strayed as she journeys through the wilderness to find herself.

With the dissolution of her marriage and the death of her mother, Cheryl Strayed has lost all hope. After years of reckless, destructive behavior, she makes a rash decision.
