Amazon has the cover art for The Help up it will be a 3 disc combo pack but no release date yet announced.

Cool. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Similar to my feelings for Water for Elephants, but I liked this one a bit more. I'll be getting it, probably on day one, because my mom loves it.

'The Help' is one of the best movies of 2011. I expect it to earn some Oscar nominations and probably a few wins.

BTW, my wife and I watched this last week in a recently restored movie house here in San Diego (Coronado). The entire interior of the theater is brand new but it feels like something out of the 50s or 60s, a perfect match for 'The Help'. Here's a photo of the curtain over the screen before the movie started:

I love that cover art. So yellow! Don't know if I'll be buying it or not though. I much preferred the book, even though they followed the storyline almost exactly.

I pre-ordered it yesterday. I do prefer the book, but the film is a great adaptation. And I'm glad it's doing well at the box office, too.

I think this will be the first time I see it since catching it in theatres in June. I will be braving the snow storm we're having right now at 10:00 AM tomorrow to grab this right when BB opens to make sure I get to see it before my shift.

Best Buy opens at 9am tomorrow. Or at least most locations should for holiday hours. I'm hoping most people won't know so I can get in at 9 before the 10am rush

There was no 10 AM rush today, probably because they did open at 9 and because it's icy roads out here. Watching it now, glad I can understand more of the lines this time due to subtitle help.

Nope, never been interested in digital copies that much, DVDs are a lot better IMO. You can get the digital copy if you want.

Crap! I didn't realize that there was a blu + DVD, and that the 3-combo was $5 more. I'm going to have to check now. Will definitely exchange if I paid $5 more JUST for the digi copy.
