Default The Complete Matrix Trilogy vs The Ultimate Matrix Collection?

I was wondering if theres is a difference in encode on these two versions?

I have the Complete Matrix Trilogy and did a rip of this since I'm going on vacation soon and I don't have a blu ray player and are bringing my small media box instead.

I noticed that the movies have a size of a bout 13-14 Gig, and thats without sound. And I thought that was a bit low since most movies have about 20-25Gig of video size.

Also, I hear theres a gitch on the 3rd movie, but not sure where it is, and it's been som time since I saw that movie. Can anyone tell me when this occurs?

I know the DVD on the 2nd movie had some glitches, but not the third.

Thanks.

#1. The Blu-rays have only ever seen the digital transfer from back in the format war days. So, they were done to accommodate the smaller sized HD-DVD disc capacity. That's why they are smaller in size. Warner was too cheap to give the Blu-ray transfer its own treatment. They just ported it over from the HD-DVD transfer.

#2. 1:45:46 into Matrix Revolutions is where the glitch occurs. You can read more about it and the replacement program here: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=109434

Default The Matrix Trilogy Wal-Mart edition special features

Are the special features on the Matrix Trilogy from Walmart the same as if they were sold separately and not together?

I was at a Walmart today and their Triple Feature had this mystifying sticker on it:

Default The Matrix Triple Feature

The best edition to have in terms of money, the features on the discs are the same as the dvds and the stand-alone blu-rays.

I don't want to create new thread as I think my question fits here perfectly.

I already have Ultimate Matrix Collection on DVD but want to upgrade (mainly movies, but bonus content counts for me too) to HD. Can anyone tell me – are there any differences between blu-ray discs 1-3 in Complete vs Ultimate? And I mean bonus content, not the quality. I think Bonus DVDs are the same, so already have them.

I know Animatrix is also hard to find on blu-ray so this is one point for buying Ultimate, but also I can get Complete 3 times cheaper than Ultimate.

Thanks for any help.

The movie discs (i.e. discs 1-3) are the same between all releases to date.
