Saw Talaash earlier today

Cinema: ODEON (Digital, UK)

All I can really say is that it's miles above and beyond some of the nonsense we get to see these days.

Aamir Khan steals the show, but Rani and Kareena are great. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is remarkable.

Bottom line: a gripping suspense drama that has a strong emotional element & repeat value.

4.5/5.

If anyone at Reliance is reading this, please make sure the menus work on the BD

Plus I don't want to have to wait a very long time for the release.

What do you guys think??

Also, can we expect a Feb release?

I saw it this evening. Aamir Khan is a brilliant actor and he choses his films so carefully. For me Talaash was really nice till a certain point in the film. Now i don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it. I feel like All three did a great job but it was the writing i had a problem with. The pacing drops at times and the suspense builds in your own mind probably better than what it turns out to be. In fact i had an ending which my group liked alot better. Its not amoung Aamirs better works but its not as bad as Dobhi Ghat. I won't get this on BD only cuz i don't think i'll go back to it. Some might like the twist but i think they should have gone another way with it. so before i spoil it.. i'll stop. Watch it for the performances but don't go expecting it to blow you away.

I think Talaash started off really well. Even towards the 3 quarters of the movie, it was chugging along really well. The actors are sincere to their roles. There is no shah rukh style over acting. The story has a good grip on you. Comedy is actually quite mature and grown up. I enjoyed it tremendously and lost track of time.

Then the end came.......oh.......What a face-palmer.

It is a complete ripoff of 2 hollywood movies. If you have seen those, you will not like Talaash. If you haven't, you *might* enjoy it.

I was scared of ghosts when I was 6 years old. Then I grew up, I guess Aamir should try as well.

Talaash made its way for thrills and spills at nook. But it ended so meanly that all the 120 minutes before the climax seemed so childish. No real thrill, no real mystery just mystical for hysterical viewers and paranoids.

Dvd is out cant wait for the blu ray, ime hoping a week or two max, its reliance they are pretty fast

Delhi Belly's Bluray itself was never released. You could only guess if Talaash will ever have a bluray release.

It is going to be released very soon, bollywood blu ray has it out for soon release, many other sites in india have talash pre orders, and i think it will come out the same time as Debangg 2.

Saw it today. And yes, despite its ending, it's still miles ahead of a lot of crap being churned out in Bollywood today. Too bad that crap ends up earning more than cinema like this !!!
