Default 'The Game' on BBC America 2014

I was just wondering if anyone else was interested in this show. I just binged-watched the first four episodes last night, and really like it. Reminds me of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. I've got to hand it to the Brits, among many fine exports, spy thrillers might top the list. I really like how the show takes place in the early 70's. Costumes, cars and set designs look fantastic.
Sure hope this show sticks around. BBC America is quickly becoming one of my top channels, as they are just putting out some great shows.

Just checked & I have 4 shows of The Game still on our DVR schedule.

This show should be my 'my cup of tea' I think & I too believe the Brits are great w/this style of shows which I thoroughly enjoy...I need to start watching these soon, however 'too many shows & not enough time' on our DVR list!

Haha! I know the feeling! It just seems like 24 hours is not, nearly, enough time in the day to finsih all the things I need to do...including getting caught up on DVR watching!

This got me to thinking rickah88 have you been able to catch the BBC miniseries 'The Missing' starring James Nesbitt and Frances O'Connor on Starz.

I only caught the premiere on our Audience channel as we do not get the Starz channel on Directv. It looked extremely good to me as this is 'my cup of tea'. I'm really into these mystery/thriller types from the UK. I liked it so much I've pre-ordered it from Amazon.co.uk!

I would like to see it come down to £10-13!!

Here is a review they have if your interested:

Quote:
Reviews
All eight episodes of the BBC miniseries starring James Nesbitt and Frances O'Connor. When Tony and Emily Hughes (Nesbitt and O'Connor) travel to France with their five-year-old son Oliver (Oliver Hunt), their family holiday turns into a nightmare when Oliver disappears into the crowd of a busy French street. As the frantic father loses patience with the police and their lack of motivation to search for Oliver, Tony takes matters into his own hands and begins to form a private investigation. The cast also includes Tchéky Karyo and Anastasia Hille.

LOL!
That is amazing you mention this. The wife and I watched the frist 2 episodes just last night, and we were blown away by how good The Missing is!
As parents of two boys(4yrs and 4months), the show is just paralyzing in how scary it must feel losing a child. I can't even begin to fathom what parents of missing children go through.
We are going to watch episode 3 tonight, and can't wait. Very good show indeed!

Also watched episode 5 of The Game earlier today, and was blown away by the big mole reveal! Looking forward to seeing the season finale next week.

Nice!
You all are gonna like it! Very nicely done period piece, with a bunch of twists and turns. I can't wait to watch S2.
