these flicks are already in the hands of most retailers and some consumers (myself included) have already attained copies of some of these flicks.

Come on High Def Digest/ HTS where's the reviews!

PS, anyone know the codecs used on these? "Eigh Below" looked perfect!

I have heard that 8 Below was AVC, though I have not read anything that I would consider concrete.

I too read that Eight Below was AVC, along with The Great Raid. The others people are guessing are MPEG2 but I don't believe this has been confirmed either way yet.

I hope Jay and Silent Bob looks good...

Is there any news on Memento picturewise? I will be pissed if it is messed up. Though it is also kinda gritty anyways so I would not expect it to be stellar.

Buena Vista has embargoed all Blu-ray reviews until Tuesday for all media outlets they've provided discs. Anything you see before Tuesday is either the result of early store leaks or breaking embargo. Come Tuesday morning, you should see a flood of reviews... mine included.

The paperwork I received didn't state that but it makes sense.

As for an introduction, I'm the founder and editor for Blu-ray, HD-DVD, Xbox 360 and PS3 at TheManRoom.com. I should have reviews up for all four Buena Blu-ray titles early Tuesday morning.

I check your site daily, probably more like 3-4 times a day looking for new release announcements. You're quite fast at getting the info up on your site. Love the high res coverart for BD and HD DVD as well.

Thanks all. I'll drop a note here when the reviews are published. Keep in mind TMR doesn't target a true "audio/videophile" reader so the reviews aren't going to be chock full of wall-to-wall tech-babble. Speaking of Buena, I just added partial specs and high res cover art for wave 3 (nov 21).
