Default New Cartridge Advice

So I currently have a Technics SLQ200, which requires a P-mount cartridge. I previously purchased an Audio-Technica AT311EP, but I'm not very happy with the sound and I'm getting heavy distortion and harsh vocals after about 8 months of semi-regular listening.

So, I decided to spend more this time. I was about to bite on the Grado Black from turntablelab.com, but after e-mailing and calling for advice, they A) Didn't seem to know what a P-mount cartridge is and b) Claimed they didn't sell any. A lot of user reviews online also claim the Grado is quite noisy and has a noticeable hum.

Does anyone have any advice on a P-mount cart? I don't mind spending $100-$150 if it's really going to make a difference. Thank you!
