I wouldn't pay £25.00 for this though and I'm not bothered about steelbooks either.

Does the UK release contain more than 1 one version of the film other than the "extended edition"?
They're doing an amaray release of these anniversary editions too (Cuckoo's Nest, The Exorcist and Westworld too). My guess is it'll just be the Director's Cut as the other cuts are already on the old blu-ray (if I get this I'll keep the old one...as it's actually part of the De Niro Collection).

Wow. I saw this on amazon.co.jp but the digibook was pictured...then it was changed to "not available." Good to see steel is really coming out.

If it is only a Amazon Exclusive why WB said(on bluray.com/ news) they gonna bring out some classics like OUaTiA and also One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest and others on BR. That's why it made me think you could get it without Amazon. That how I read it. Maybe I am wrong. I have patience if it come available for everyone.

You might want to hold back on your insult attempts when you can barely get whatever nonsensical point across through 2 separate tries. To answer your question (I think?), the Steelbook for the Once Upon a Time in America Extended Cut is exclusive to Amazon in the UK. This extended cut will also be released widely in standard packaging. I'm not sure what this Steelbook release has to do with any Blu-ray news you read about Warner saying they're bringing out these titles on Blu-ray. You are aware this movie, and "One Flew Over..." have been on Blu-ray all over the world for many years right?

Short of the J-card & release date, is there any difference between this and the German steelbook?
As it stands, for me, I'd save ~$5 on the Euro vs. the British Pound.

The actually steelbooks looks the same and the disk inside will be identical, so as you say its just the J card plus an extra 2 weeks delay for the UK version.

Does anyone know if this contains both disks or just the new extended version ?

It will be limited but not seen an edition size quoted.
Amazon are selling the same Steelbook, different J card on their UK and German sites so that's at least two to spread copies over.
