Blu-ray Count

Well, I'm disappointed in my purchase of this BD (not so much that I own it, as the price I paid for what I got). Firstly, there is an opening text scrawl to the film that is, on this disc, written in German, so I have no clue as to the "setup" of the narrative. More aggravating, though, is the fact that, though this is a cross-regional disc, the trailer, "making of" featurette and interview with the director are all apparently PAL-encoded, so my U.S. PS3 won't play them. Crap...this is the second German import to disappoint me with PAL material this year. Think I'll have to hold off on Concorde titles until I get a PAL-capable player down the road...
This said, the film itself does look quite nice... |
