Career Revivals You'd Like To See

It's not everyday you get to see people whose names were either synonymous with box office poison (Ben Affleck) or with drug addiction (Robert Downey Jr) make a big comeback and get a lot of recognition both critically and commercially (Affleck's directorial filmography and Iron Man, respectively).

I figure it'd be interesting to see who you guys want to make a huge comeback. And I'm not just talking about actors...

Nicolas Cage - Yeah, he's interesting to watch whether he's in a good or bad movie, but I'd like to see another movie again where our Lord and Saviour Nic comes back after Season of the Witch and Outcast

Adam Sandler - As much as I frickin' hate his recent string of comedies, I generally like the guy as he does have some interesting acting chops in his more serious films. Pair him up with Spike Jonze on a drama-comedy with a killer script and you got yourself potential comeback for Sandler as a relevant actor

Johnny Depp - Well no shit Depp can act, but his latest streak of movies have made him more or less forgettable that a really good movie is in need for him to get Captain Jack back on his feet

Will Smith - He's charismatic as hell, but After Earth and more recently Focus hasn't done much to propel the star back to Independence Day and I Am Legend days.

Ridley Scott - As much as I am in the minority who generally likes Prometheus and is a huge fan of Blade Runner, Ridley's been in the shitter for the past five or so years. I think it's time to give him a big break before he comes back with something hopefully fresh and mindblowing up his sleeve.
