Default Polk TSi-300 or Andrew Jones FS52 or ?

Can I please get some help and opinions on an upgrade for my left and right front speakers?

Currently I have pretty mediocre Definitive Technology 600 bookshelves on stands. They are not bad for home theater (not very good either) but where they really seem to be POOR is when playing music. The sound is muffled and not dynamic at all. I can turn it up really loud, but it still sounds like everything is being squeezed out of the same space and it's an unimpressive sound.

I have a Yamaha receiver that puts out 80w per channel and I don't plan to upgrade any time soon, nor am I going to add an amp.

I strongly considered the Polk 75t's while they were on sale for $169.99, but I was seriously concerned they were too much speaker for me. I really don't blast things...we live in a condo...and also at about $360 that was about as much I would spend, so thinking it might be the wrong choice made me back off.

I'm looking at the TSi-300's and they don't look as impressive but they look good. Better than bookshelves on a stand for sure. However, the best I can find them is $300 for a pair and that's just $60 less than the 75t was an it's much better. IF the 300's were $100/each, I would have ordered them already.

So now I hear that if you aren't a huge audiophile, these Andrew Jones speakers are really nice. They wouldn't match my center Polk, but they're $89 each. They also aren't as attractive as the Polks and I'd like to say I won't upgrade again for 2-3 years.

I feel stumped because I think the TSi's might be the best choice for my needs, but I also feel like I'm overpaying for something when other, nicer speakers come close to their price routinely.

Can anyone help me out here? Thanks!
