Default Flixster 03/21 to 3/22 to..

I bought a d2d conversion on flixster on 3/21, right about the time flixster blew up for me. Now flixster is missing 98% of my library, won't sync, hasn't added the film to my uv locker, and i can't d2d the film on flixster again - because it says i already have the film in my library.

is anyone else experiencing a massive issue with flixster functionality currently? i opened a ticket with them and then talked to a CSR. CSR said they are aware of the issues and their engineers are working on it.

no time frame on when flixster will be functional again though. they did offer to escalate my ticket, which means squat considering they are telling me it's an issue on their network and system.

I had a similar problem a few months ago, though I wasn't using d-2-d at the time. I ultimately had to have the uv link "reset" by the flixster people and then connected my library again. That resolved most of the issues.

I tried to install the latest flixter DtoD App, but Norton Security keeps deleting it, claiming it is unsafe. So I just gave up.

I'm missing a few movies in my locker as well, yet when I type in the movie that's missing I am able to stream/download it. Thankfully I don't use Flixster that often or I might be mad.

Oh yeah, using PC.

After their last update I only see one movie through the flixster desktop app. Whatever the last movie I redeemed or D2D'd through them. It still adds new movies and is 50/50 on letting me d2d. I've only tried 2 movies through them recently. 1 went through fine and the other wouldn't allow me to complete the checkout.

I've been having issues loading my library for the past several days. Flixster keeps erroring or timing out. I got my library to load last night after at least a dozen attempts. I figured something was broken.

A lot of my UV movies are labeled as "Playback Unavailable" on Flixster.

Looks like they may have resolved the issues finally? My library is now loading.

I was having this problem as well, until a couple of days ago.

Weird thing is, neither the website or desktop software would load anything other than my most recent D2D transactions (Fallen, Selena), but the mobile app would load just fine.

I'm just speculating, but It's possible they did an update somewhere on the back-end that borked something on the front-end. As to why it didn't affect the mobile app, I would guess that's a different code-base and wasn't affected by the changes.

One thing I did notice with these newest updates is they finally added a d2d search engine. It's in the software right below the "Get Started" button. Or was that there all along? I don't remember seeing it before but I don't use it as much as the Vudu app so I could be wrong.

I'm all for choice. But Flixster is pretty bad (and thats being kind).
Why not just use Vudu? Or even Cinema Now which is still leaps and bounds better than Flixster.

I've never used Flixster for anything other than a redemption site. The app on some of my streaming boxes is solely a trailer/previews app which is useless to me. CinemaNow is a clunky POS, at least from when I've used it (as an app on Blu-ray player/streaming boxes). It takes forever to side scroll to find what you own, and everything is out of order. You can't even search to find your own stuff. Garbage.

Uh, ok, but the main point was suggesting Vudu. Not to focus on How inferior other services are. Because lets face it, next to Vudu (which still isn't perfect) they are all pretty bad. If the others are all that is available, then so be it. But You can use any service anywhere if you know how.

Cinema now has a decent UI on certain platforms, but that is not everywhere and I know where you are coming from, side scrolling is not the way to make a service like these, I totally agree, (Target anyone?)
