Agreed on both counts. Flightplan is the only title I have any interest in... unfortunately not enough to purchase it though.

Yea Flightplan is the only one there that I even recognize and It wasn't that great of a movie (Ok rental I guess).

I saw some guy from Hong Kong on AVS post about Dinosaur and some other discs like that. Pretty favorable impression across the boards.

When are those discs coming here to the States?

A wave with no interest for me...

I guess it will help in the title count vs. HD DVD...

Who is predicted to be in the lead by year end? It must be close to even I would think with Disney and Fox vs. Universal being pretty close...?

Actually The Wild is CGI so it may make interesting demo material if it was done well...

Counting only major titles it looks like HD DVD and Blu-ray numbers are pretty much even for 2006.

I think that there will be a decent number of great titles just in time for Christmas, especially with the PS3 launching. Also there have been no announcements from Warner, Paramount, Sony and Lionsgate past October.
