I've been combing over my Blu-Ray library and converting many titles to VUDU.
I also picked up a new Apple TV (2015) recently. I decided to see how all of my digital copies looked in iTunes. Sadly, I would say 80-90% are not in HD which blows my mind. Something tells me that if I would have entered the code today, iTunes would probably offer the HD version. Here is an example. I have the Scarface (steelbook) Blu-Ray that comes with a digital copy via Universal. It has been sitting in my iTunes library since purchased. The quality is not very good and of course, it is the SD version in my account. When I enter the code at Universal now, it comes up with Scarface and shows HD next to the name. It lets me add it to my VUDU account in HDX. It also lets me add to iTunes. Entering the code in iTunes says the code is already used. Is there any recourse? Any tricks to try to get the HD version in iTunes? Thanks. |
