i saw the trailer for iron man , my question is if this movie is from paramount the studio never release the blu ray?

ugh, didnt realize it was paramount. hopefully by the time of its release on dvd the war will have ended or they will have switched

You wish...just because para isn't Blu anymore doesn't mean they're not putting out good movies. This isn't going to be your typical superhero movie. This time around, we're going to have a fantastic actor playing the hero, drunken he may be.

i tend to like most super hero movies save for the likes of that one with ben affleck (so bad). Plus downey jr. is funny and a good actor. The movie looks like a fun summer movie.

Some of you are so biased. Just because it isn't going to be on Blu doesn't mean they're bad movies. People said the same thing about Transformers. You know if it was on Blu, people would be all over it.

It's Sony in Japan, Universal in many other places. I don't think Warner is handling anything with Iron Man.

I saw a French poster today of this movie and in the bottom corner was the Paramount logo. I don't know where you read that it was Universal and I am also questioning whether Sony has anything to do with it.

Universal (UIP, actually, which is Universal/Paramount) has distribution rights in some countries, Sony in Japan. The Sony distribution was announced months ago in a press release from Marvel.

This is the first movie Marvel is making in-house. Obviously, they seem to have gone to outside distributors.
