Default Top 5 most visually impressive anime's

Just visually impressive. We don't care about story, just visuals and artistic creativity in the animation is what you vote on. And only Japanese animation/anime. No old school Disney like Snow White, Little Nemo, Lion King, Wall-E etc.

I am by no means an expert on anime. I've probably not even seen 30 or 40 of them. I'm probably leaving something out on my list, because I just have not seen many imho.

I thought this could be a fun thread!

So here's my un-informed/newbie list.

(I don't draw or anything so my list probably sux at this point in time, but someone has to start this thread.)

1. Akira (Best visually for its time no?)
2. Ghost in the Shell (Futuristic, Hand Drawn+CGI I believe)
3. Paprika (Trippy Dreamy Creative)
4. Ponyo (Ocean/Beach creatures setting)
5. Redline (Hand drawn action/speed based)
