Metro Goldwyn Mayer No Time To Die (2021) [No 3D Blu-ray] [Digital only - AVP]

There are rumors (indications) that the new James Bond movie will have a 3D version play in certain countries.

See Ukrainian poster below from Universal's facebook page.

Also, this website from the Netherlands is currently selling movie tickets for a 3D version.

https://www.bioshardenberg.nl/movies...ime_to_die_3d_

Let's keep an eye on this one for further developments. I would like to see a firmer confirmation. As you know, things that get planned sometimes get cancelled.

Wow!

With an 3D Version beside the 4K Version this will be an wonderful and breathtaking grand final starring Daniel Craig as James Bond for the last time

4K + 3D-disc for me. Can`t wait!

Even if so, Mi6 was in 3D too and that didn't go well with respect to our collections.

i do not think this is getting a release in 3D considering the studio. I do not think MGM ever did a 3D movie.

MGM did too!(two) "Kiss Me Kate" and "Arena", both in the Golden Age, both in Anscocolor and both now controlled by Time/Warner.

I really hope this gets a theatrical 3D release in the US. Never thought we'd get a 3D Bond movie, so this is exciting.

And of course, hopefully it gets a 3D BD release somewhere.

If this actually happens in some countries that is great. If the conversion is anything approaching decent then that is also great but the biggest if is of course whether or not this ever sees light of day on 3D Blu Ray.

We got very lucky with Hobbs and Shaw 3D on Blu Ray, but a Bond movie on 3D Blu Ray seems like too much of a pipe dream. Hopefully all my negativity will mean the opposite!

The common factor is Universal but I agree, the odds are stacked against a 3D Blu-ray even if the film does get a theatrical 3D release in some countries.

Would seem a little bit odd for this to get a 3D release; had they wanted to release a Bond film in 3D one might have expected either Skyfall or Spectre to get the treatment, given both of those were released when 3D theatrical releases were reasonably common. I'd just be a little bit surprised if they decided to go with 3D now, when most filmmakers/studios are turning away (or have long since abandoned) 3D.

That said, what do I know? I'll not get my hopes up but time will tell.

If you click on the link below, then scroll down, then click on one the cities on the left, you can see the various options.

Is this just a big mistake?

Well, we'll have to wait a bit longer to find out whether or not this will be shown in 3D, and really just to see it at all. Due to the Coronavirus the studio pushed the release back to November...

Bond's caught a cold - gives them more time to work on a conversion though...

To no one's surprise, No Time To Die has been pushed back to April 2, 2021.
