Strongly pondering… I may go for the single disc version since the the second disc of the two disc set isn’t English friendly, if I’m reading that correctly. I take it the subs are pretty good though?

Went through the special features first so haven't had a chance to check the quality of the main feature's subtitles, but I assume they are good.

Yes. The disc is region-free. I just got it and tested it.

Watched it last night. Subtitles are excellent. It’s not an easy movie to watch but it’s a great drama. I hope it wins the Oscar’s for best picture (like it better than the other titles they nominated).

Mine just came in too. Wild, order in the weekend from Japan, arrives a few days later.

Was also pleasantly surprised to learn that the DVD is also region free, just no English subs. (Turns out this is not the case)

Sidenote, the packaging now comes with a little golden sticker mentioning the Oscar noms.

The bonus DVD is definitey region locked.
