Geez. Sony re-issued steels galore today. This is the only one I'd be interested in since Zavvi never put this one on sale. It's sold out now.

It was a zavvi exclusive and sold out quickly. But it was a limited run too.

People are gonna be annoyed it's now cheaper too

lmao, I have the US slip also.

Always thought about getting this and was going to wait for a price drop on Zavvi as I think it lasted longer than it should have but it went OOS before it hit the bargain bin.

Definitely going to get this, heard a lot of good things about this movie. Still haven't seen it yet though

It was pretty good. I have not rewatched it since I got it new last year but now I am thinking of popping it in since I have a new old TV (2013 Panny 65ST60) and a dedicated room now.

Along those lines, I preferred Whiplash to the Best Picture winning Birdman.

Watched Moonlight, and I enjoyed it, but haven't seen La La Land yet. Wonder if my opinion will be reversed this time?

My joke fell flat, clearly.

There were people joking about finding the Moonlight disc inside the box for La La Land when that gets released due to the Oscar screw-up. So, I made a joke that Chazelle's Whiplash would contain a disc for that year's Best Picture winner, Birdman.

One thing I like besides the thematic art (blood on the cymbal) is that the title is debossed (etched in). At least on the Zavvi release.

Missed on the Zavvi one, so I'm interested in getting this. The price is a little on the high side, so I'm hoping it drops a little more.

Title is embossed just like the Zavvi UK one. And full gloss.

Mine arrived with two minor dings on the top front right and a loose disc. Hardly a fuss.
