Default Bloodsport single disc release?

Was this just added to the database recently https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Blood...Blu-ray/30450/ ? I don't recall seeing a single release of it before just the DF with Timecop. There's still no date but here's to hoping. I was watch his "Behind Closed Doors" earlier today and it made me made that his movies weren't release on BD yet.

Nothing. I just don't like DF/TF. Rather have each one with a single release.

Timecop is sold individually in the U.K., but not Bloodsport. I also prefer all movies to have individual releases. This was also the case with Bruce Willis' Last Man Standing. It got bundled with the Last Boyscout, which I had no interest in, but I bought the double-pack anyway. I considered ordering the stand-alone German release, but this option was half the cost for likely the same transfer.

1.) Buy the double movie pack and pretend Time Cop is a special feture on the BS disc

2.) Make a Bloodsport custom cover for it

3) ??????

4.) Profit!

It doesn't look like a single release is coming anytime soon for Bloodsport. More so that another user simply added separate listing for Bloodsport and Timecop so they could bundle it to the current double feature release.

Somebody please give this a single U.S. release! The cover art for the German release was f'n Awesome!, but picture quality is still said to be somewhat poor. Would luv a fresh 2k scan of this! Shout, Arrow, Kino, anybody...! I'd spring day 1.

The German release is one of those early Warner titles with the jaggies (original Lethal Weapon 2, Perfect Storm, Willy Wonka, Full Metal Jacket, etc)

The German release is from MGM, but the comparison is apt.

No need to wait on a domestic 4k the UK release is full English and has more special features than any US Warner disc will likely have.

This movie is so much more influential than people realize. Major inspiration towards fighting games like Mortal Kombat and also the development of mixed martial arts like the UFC. It still seems so unique all these years later. It was filmed all the way back around 1986 when mixing fight disciplines was a pretty novel idea. Watching the earliest days of UFC back when pretty much everyone was training just one style is pretty barbaric and carnival-like as hardly anyone outside of wrestling and jujitsu realized the importance of ground game and submissions.

Enter the Dragon might have started the tournament idea but I think this film did it better than any other film still to this day. As you said this is basically UFC before UFC. Great cast, locations, Bolo plays a memorable villain, authentic HK cast, music hits, nice balance of not so serious moments, based on a true fake story makes it legend status, easy to call this Van Damme's best movie.

Haha it's all love

Bloodsport is only like 1% behind Kickboxer in my book. Pretty sure we are getting Timecop soon too, so there is plenty JCVD to go around.

I'll expect a full JCVD Kickboxer dance whilst wearing a Caligula tank top from you when Kickboxer 4K is released, dally
