Ok guys, so I am buying a new house and one of the downstairs rooms has the space for a cinema room.
I don't have much to spend, but would like to convert this room as economically as possible. That said, it should not look cheap! ![]() Measurements of room are: 18'9" x 14'10" (5.71m x 4.51m) Here's a plan and photo of the room. My main issue is how the screen should work in relation to the french doors on the back wall. I would prefer the screen to come down in front of the french doors, but am open to suggestion (perhaps having some curtains covering the french doors and then the screen coming down in front of it). I haven't figured out where the centre speaker would go if I still wanted to have access to the french doors. Putting the screen on the opposite wall is an idea, but I preferred to enter the room and see the screen on the further wall (where the french doors are). Your help would be grateful appreciated.
