I missed this the last time. Wasn't it about the same price then?

Also, what is the shipping work out to?

Amazing price! I picked mine up off ebay for $23 last year, wish I would've held off a little longer.

A link in the OP would've been helpful. Assuming I found the right item on Amazon UK, I guess I missed the sale because it says 13.40 pounds before shipping. Oh well. I was just too busy with other stuff to get around to it.

Does Amazon UK only have prices like this around BF or do I need to keep watching for the sale to repeat? Actually, does Amazon UK even have a Black Friday given that Thanksgiving is a US holiday?

Very odd. I remember copying/pasting the link...

Your link must've been swallowed by this site.

If this set goes on sale again, hopefully you or someone will bump this thread.

BTW, I spent a little time searching Amazon UK for "3D Blu-Ray" to see what titles the UK has that the US doesn't. It was a lot less than I expected (and I've never even heard of several of the animated ones):

Frozen (3D)
Horrid Henry (3D)
Justin and the Knights of Valour (3D)
Malificent (3D)
Monster in Paris (3D)
Need for Speed (3D)
Ratatouille (3D)
Tarzan: The Legend Lives (3D)
Topcat: The Movie (3D)
Turtle's Tale, A: Sammy's Adventure (3D)
Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning (3D)

No 3D version anywhere:
x Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return (3D)
x Planes: Fire & Rescue (3D)
x Tinkerbell and the Pirate Fairy (3D)

What bums me out is when I ordered Malificent 3D from Amazon UK in a hurry, I almost grabbed Turtle's Tale: Sammy's Adventure for 6.00 pounds. Now it's no longer available except at 20 pounds. Bummer.

They have sales like that more than on Black Friday. I ordered on 10/20 for 8.33+3.08 shipping or $19.09 (still waiting on delivery). Amazon UK does have a lot of sales for Black Friday. They started doing that about 4 years ago.

Blu-ray.com link (go to Amazon UK from there). It's now higher -- £13.21 before VAT refund & shipping -- but it's still cheaper than many of us got it for (and much cheaper than the U.S. Anthology has ever been -- same discs, slightly different packaging).

Just don't confuse it with the "5 Film Collection", which is cheaper but omits the STM Expanded, S II Richard Donner Cut & bonus discs. If you care enough about the series to buy Superman IV, you want the full set.

It's on NF streaming in 3D if you have that.

Did anyone order this around 11/30 or so and receive it yet? My estimated arrival was 12/16 but it's still not here. I know it can take longer, so I was just figuring maybe others had ordered around the same time and maybe hadn't received it yet either?

Edit - Must be the power of posting. About 10 minutes after posting this the mailman arrives with the package. The shipping box was a bit banged up and he said that they found it at the post office and it looks like it had been there "lost" for a few days. The movie box itself was fine though.

I'm surprised this wasn't moved to Region B deals since the moderators seem eager to do that nowadays.

Is there any difference at all between the U.S. edition vs the UK edition ? Why is it always so much cheaper than the U.S copy?
