Last Samurai

The Foutain looks amazing btw. Just a slow, you-can-only-watch-once kind of flick.

I really enjoyed Alexander. It's nearly 4 hours long, with an intermission at the end of disk 1. You are certainly getting your money's worth with that title. All kinds of sex and violence and battles and history.

What are you trying to accomplish? Meaning are you looking for a HQ demo type disc? Or is this just a case of liking all three but your other half is only allowing you one?

...anywho, go with The Last Samurai.

Last Samurai - Hands down.

I had never seen that movie until recently. I was amazed at the beauty of this film, both visually and in the writing. It's absolutely my favorite Tom Cruise film of all time and the PQ is incredible.

The Last Samurai, especially since John Toll was the DP. I own it, great transfer.

the Fountain jut gets better with repeated viewings. Amazing film indeed, looks great and Clint Mansell has again provided an outstanding soundtrack.

Last Samurai would come second, but quite a lot behind the Fountain. And Alexander is just a snooze fest.

The Last Samurai

I was torn between the Last Samurai and Christmas Vacation. I went for Samurai because of all the good things I've heard about the PQ.

Buy The Last Samurai. It's a great movie that has something for everyone. The PQ is great as well. You will not be upset with this purchase.
