I don’t know, 3D content on VR headsets looks way better than any passive or active 3D displays I’ve experienced.

For an audience of 1, not very practical. At least with projectors you still have a good experience that can be shared.

Then buy an additional one for each person. Watching movies with other people is the inferior experience. They get bored too easily and talk too much.

Good to know I may be able to watch the Avatar sequels more than the single times in the cinema. Will not watch them in fixed 24 frames and 2D. UHD Blu-ray is a little pathetic.

The first sequel is available on 3D Blu-ray so you can watch it at home.

As I said in the 3d streaming thread, the solution to this is a 3dtv with an active polarizing element in the screen itself, just as Samsung announced 14 years ago before cancelling it.

240Hz would get you 24, 48, 60 and 120p 3D capability.
