As in martial arts anime movies and series? Cause if you’re asking about live action then I’m afraid you are in the wrong sub-forum.

Well in Ranma½, they live in a martial arts dojo, and although they talk about it a lot not much of it goes on.

Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple is a good martial arts anime, although that one is DVD-only and OOP now, I believe, so you would have to go the used route on eBay or other used anime sources. Also, wouldn't Fist of the Northstar be martial arts? I've only seen bits and pieces of it.

I kind of have the feeling he is asking about live-action, though, and just though the anime crowd would be into that genre as well.

While great films, they are live action. I get the poster was asking for them, but let's stick to アニメ martial arts, okay?

You unintentionally confused Kenichi with Kekkaishi in my brain.
Kekkaishi is half OOP and also DVD only - sets 1 & 2 are still aplenty on the cheap at Amazon and eBay, but good luck finding sets 3 & 4 for less than $200 each.
Kenichi is similar, but reversed - you can get the season 2 DVD on Amazon for $50, but good luck finding season 1 for less than $200.

Really? Wow, and I just bought all three DVD sets for $15 from another forum member back in April, just a month before Funi announced their licence for it was expiring... Good timing, I guess!

Personally I’m going for the Anime Classics sets, which are more expensive. The thinpacks like you have are cheaper, but not by much. (Personally I hate thinpacks, and avoid them unless it is not possible.) But yes, good timing on your part.

Oh, I like thinpak DVD sets, and have quite a few of them in my collection. Less space than standard releases, generally have clear cases rather than black, and usually both the front and back covers of each thinpak have full-page artwork - although the Kenichi thinpaks have the episode lists on the back covers, instead of more artwork. But, I'll certainly take the thinpaks for $15 over the $250 for those Anime Classics, anytime, lol...
