Good news. Would be great if Rio Bravo was remastered

Man oh man I hope it is, but for some reason I have my doubts.

I lucked out on this one. I have some on DVD, but none of these on blu-ray. Will purchase.

I must fight hard to resist the price-dump on these titles before the release of the collection.

I wasn't aware that Forth Apache was already released on blu-ray :/

What's really weird is that She Wore a Yellow Ribbon is not being included in this set. A glaring omission.

What's wrong with The Searchers? I thought it looked great.

Here's what Robert Harris had said regarding The Searchers:

"Searchers neg is in similar fade condition to [The Man Who Knew Too Much]. At the time this work was performed, this was what they were able to cull from the elements. Today it could look as it did in 1956. It wasn't the people. It was the process. And, yes, this should be redone with new technology. "

And no SONS OF KATIE ELDER which leads me to believe Paramount will not release that one through Warners, but by themselves. After seeing the debacle they did on HATARI I wish they would surrender the reins of all their Dukes to Warners.
