Is epic games store safe and secure now?

I can't comment on how safe or secure the store is but as long as the Chinese company Tencent (or any Chinese company for that matter) has anything to do with Epic - I won't be buying anything from them. I will however continue to go in each week and pick up the free games... I've probably got around 100 at this point and haven't downloaded or played a single one. Probably shouldn't of even downloaded the Epic Store app cause who knows what kind of Chinese spyware the thing has.

I was afraid you were going to say that. I hate epic games store they haft to have exclusives like Tony hawk 1 and 2 hd and the kingdom hearts games. why are they allowed to get away with this? If they didn’t use a Chinese company and had all there issues worked out I’d use it. but as it stands there awful service locking these games away from pc users.

That's called capitalism. Epig gives publishers a lot of money for store exclusivity. Usually this will only be for a limited time though (often it is a year)

I don't buy anything there either but I just post the free games that show up. I'm being careful with the app: sketchy shit happens? I'd burn it.

I don't buy anything from Chinese companies either: Lenovo, Hisense, etc.
