I read this article last night and basically dorked-out on the Tech on display, wouldn't it be nice to be a billionaire with this in your house?
http://www.cnet.com/news/tomorrowlan...-in-a-theater/ But then I woke up this morning and started wondering, is this where The Industry/Hollywood is headed? Could native 4K with it's requisite increased resolution and color depth be more immersive/realistic than current 3D? When new players and discs arrive (later this year?), Tomorrowland could be a launch title and could become the 'poster child' for native 4K. I wasn't jacked up about any of this before, but I've decided that I'm at least curious now. |
