Apollo 13 if we exclude spielberg titles. A Universal Pictures guilty pleasure would be Conan the Barbarian.

Although this is speculation it would explain both Universal and Paramount and how they deal with Spielberg films. Spielberg has final say in what medium his movies can be released. However, he does not get to say "release my movie on (insert format here)". If the studio says "we want to release Jurassic Park on HD DVD" Speilberg can say "No" and they can't do it. If Spielberg says "Unversal release Jurassic Park on Blu-ray" They can say "No" because they have the right to control its release. In other words Spielberg has Veto power, only. Although he can make a suggestion it can not force action by an unwilling party.

You're not kidding. That movie would be an instant purchase from me. Somehow though I'd expect a lot of grain in the PQ... you never know, though. They could nail it just right like Close Encounters and Dawn of the Dead.

I would like to see Slither on Blu-ray.
