The world's most lovable mystery-solving dog, along with best friend Shaggy and the rest of the gang, bring on the laughs and adventures on this double-feature Blu-ray™ release! In Scooby-Doo and The Witch's Ghost, Scooby, Shaggy and co. get tied up with bumbling mummies and monster turkeys when famous fright-writer, Ben Ravencroft, invites the gang to his hometown for the Autumn Harvest Festival. There, they learn that Ben's ancestor, Sarah, haunts the place, and they set out to uncover the ghostly Ravencroft secret that will prove her either a good-hearted healer or a spell-casting witch. In Scooby-Doo and The Alien Invaders, Scooby, Shaggy and the Mystery, Inc. are stranded in a desert town where they soon discover a plethora of flying saucer buffs, secretive scientists and less-than-friendly extraterrestrials! But after aliens chase and beam them aboard a UFO, clues to the mystery of the alien invaders lead the gang from a top-secret government research base to an intricate network of caves hidden under the town, the race to crack the case redefines the term "far out" in this hilarious space-capade. Dedicated Scooby fans can now rejoice having these two fan favorite features on this new release, both for the first time on Blu-ray™.

Now that's a double feature! For some reason I thought Witch's Ghost was a fair bit longer than 66 minutes.

I remember the VHS for The Witch’s Ghost included the Courage the Cowardly Dog pilot “The Chicken From Outer Space” after the credits.

I’m glad that they’re porting over the features! I’m really hoping that they don’t stop releasing Scooby movies on Blu-ray with this set, but I’m also aware that the sales for literally any Scooby movie that isn’t one of the first four won’t be nearly as high.

It is a shame they couldn’t put Alien Invaders with Zombie Island and Witches Ghost with Cyber Chase…

Yeah it's a shame that they're not forcing people to rebuy a film that is still readily in print on Blu-ray.

I'm glad they did it the way they did.

I’m just saying it would’ve been a better method than putting it with… EUGH… Return to Zombie Island…

I'm not a big fan of Double Feature Blu-rays, could they just release these titles separately?

Although I would have obviously preferred to own "stand-alone" releases of each title in order to display the full front cover artwork for both individually:
F*CK YEAH! I mean, ZOINKS!
Scooby-Doo! And The Witch's Ghost (1999) FINALLY on Blu-ray!
Despite being a hardcore fan of all things obscene and extreme, even I have to classify this film as "mandatory viewing" durning each and every October/Halloween season!
(Yeah, that's right, I'm not ashamed to say it: it's that good. So deal with it! )
Hopefully this won't be packaged inside of a Blu-ray Eco-Case though...
You know, for all of the "Eco-Goths" out there...

[Show spoiler] That one gets me every time.

Anyway, great announcement so "thank you" Warner Archive Collection staff!
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing Thorn in HD...

You have an objection to getting 2 movies for the price of one? They're pretty short (~80 min each) and should not face any compression issues from being on a single disc. There are no notable extras (and I can't imagine even Kim Newman, who seems to say yes to everything he's offered, doing a feature commentary for a Scooby Doo film).

People had the same reaction to Chinatown/The Two Jakes and I’ll never understand it.

Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost and Alien invaders make up a damn fine trilogy IMO!

Obviously it would be better if the releases were more consistent but it's hard to see any major distributor being consistent with releases done 13 years apart and under different divisions

Only the first Scooby Doo animated movie they released on Blu-ray is at least inconsistent spec wise.

The only question is where to from here.

Do they re-release or reissue the ones previously released? Most are out of print.

Do they go straight to the next movies that weren't released on Blu-ray or go to the more recent ones?

Or do they now go really in order and finally release What's New Scooby-Doo?

Another option is of course the old series from the '70s and '80s.
