Movies w/ 7.1 surround? - Blu-ray Forum

Is there any type of list for this that can be found on this site? I tried searching...but couldnt find anything...thanks for any help!

There are about 10 titles right now and they are either PCM or DTS HD MA. No TrueHD yet.

ok...another question...why are there so little titles with 7.1? there are a crap load of 7.1 receivers out there...but so little movies to use them with? anyone know the reason?

Well, because movies are rarely mixed for 7.1. Even with the few "7.1" titles out there, many aren't honest 7.1 mixes... some are barely 6.1. Consider it more marketing than anything.

Your receiver should be able to process 5.1 to 7.1 effectively, still giving you benefit in a properly configured medium to large home theater.
