Default "Found" - Acclaimed Horror Film

A friend brought this movie to my attention. They told me to check out the trailer. It was made for a mere $8,000 and is currently screening at festivals. For being so low-budget it actually sounds like it would be worth checking out. Not that low-budget is bad, but usually really low-budget horror is. This actually seems unique.

"Found" is an emotional coming-of-age story about a horror-obsessed boy who discovers his older brother is a serial killer.

This is based on the book by T. Rigney and winner of Best Feature, Best Director, and Best Actor (Ethan Philbeck) from Elvira's Horror Hunt, along with many other festival awards.

Looked good, and the story sounds great. I just wished the the acting...wasn't...so...wooden.

There are currently a few limited edition DVD's available. They have a link on their Facebook page. They will be taking the rest to a festival it's showing at this month. I believe they are only $18.

I agree, but it is very low-budget. This appears to be the only professional acting the cast has done looking at their IMDB profiles.

To be honest, the trailer reminded me more of Elephant, than any horror film.

Blind bought this one and watched it tonight. I thought it was pretty good for a very low budget indie horror film. The director shows promise. It has some disturbing scenes, including the ending.

I'd give it a "B."
