Lets talk about the great Al Pacino! Give any feedback about his best movie/performance and also what is his worst movie or performance. Also where would u rank him amongst the great actors etc.. I also added a poll to see what people think is his best work/movie/performance overall! He has alot under his belt. I have not seen everything he has done but from what I"ve seen over his career I would say:

Best Movie: Carlito's Way

Best Performance: Scarface

Best Overall Movie/Performance: Scarface

Favorite: Scarface

Worst Movie/Performance: The Recruit

I still need to see more of his movies but thats my choices up to this point I also voted for Scarface as his best overall movie based on story and performance! Got Em!!

As with any big actor, I have a hard time choosing his greatest performance....I did like Carlito's Way slightly better than Scarface (as blasphemous as that is) although I would consider the strength of both performances fairly equal, and I also thought Pacino was great in Serpico (there's no point in even bringing up Godfather

)

my favorite pacino movie is the devils advocate, you cannot beat the intensity in the monolouge he gives toward the end of the film, so good keanu reeves cant even ruin it!

just got dog day afternoon on blu from the warner sale yesterday, cant wait to watch!

Now that's what I'm talking about Czar. Pacino is far and away my favorite actor, and IMO the best actor I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. To pick a favorite is impossible for me, although I went with Dog Day Afternoon. His performance in that movie is impeccable, not to mention Serpico. Lumet and Pacino have to be my favorite director/actor combo in history. Basically, if Pacino's in it, I'll like it.

Runner up: dog day afternoon

Favorite: godfather 1 & 2

Honorable mention: scarface

My vote: godfather 2 everything was amazing about this movie from the acting, story & the production you name it
