lol.... seems like there just releasing any film now in days on steelbooks

In my opinion there are certain films that do deserve the steelbook treatment but then there are others that just do not make sense... this is just my opinion!

I think First Blood is worthy of the SB treatment. Ill pass though as I already have it as part of the R2 German box set.

How do you find things like this? Does Zavvi send you emails or do you work for them? How do you find an item that isnt viewable when searching their "Steelbook" section?

no I def. agree there are some that deserve it and some that don't...but to me...anything related to military/action/sci-fi fall into the "deserve" category...it's the drama's that don't

It's Rambo....it's a classic

Old films are the best to get the Steelbook treatment as in the future when more and more films come out old films now which be older then won't get much attention and most likely won't get another steelbook again

It's a shame that the UK release has hardly any extras compared to the US one

I don't like these place holders. Its alright with amazon because you have a notify button. With Zavvi there is no such thing. All I can do is write down preorders i'm interested in and keep on checking to see if its up or not.

Would be nice if the thread title can be edited to say "now available to order" or "Not yet available to order".

The cover art could be better and unless it looks amazing in-person I don't see this being worth picking up. This film deserves the steelbook treatment though. It's actually a great film (far removed from the over-the-top factor from it's follow up sequels).

Also, twenty pounds is too expensive for a catalog title on Blu-ray.

This def deserves the SB treatment but yea £19.99 is taking the piss for any film in this day in age
FYI HDN says it keeps going live now and again so maybe its a low print run hope it goe's live again soon

The remastered disc, which appeared in the grenade set, which this should mirror, disc wise, has plenty of extras.

Why should it mirror the remastered release? If anything they'll be keen to get rid of old discs, the main use for Steelbooks for most studios

Wish it wasn't called RAMBO: First Blood.

It's just First Blood!
