Default Terminator 2: Judgment Day Blu-ray Limited Edition T2 Complete Collector's Set

Terminator 2: Judgment Day Blu-ray Limited Edition T2 Complete Collector's Set + Endoskull Bust
Does anyone actually have this? If so, is it worth it? I mean it looks cool looking, but it's really expensive. I am a huge fan of the movie. I am deciding between this and the Skynet edition.
Skynet Edition $18.99 (At Best Buy) VS. $116.49 (On Amazon) Limited Edition T2 Complete Collector's Set + Endoskull Bust

I read that already....... I was just asking other people's opinions. I looked on the blu-ray.com review page. It said it had no other forum discussions.
Now, I went through the search engine. There was only questions about it. I couldn't find an official thread.

I would, but it's a BIG PURCHASE/EXPENSIVE for just one movie.
I'm just wondering people's opinions from people who own it.

Good choice, it's probably not worth it unless it has value.

Someone here has it in their collection and it looks cool! If you can afford it and really want it, by all means get it. Life is short.

I spent $175 US to get the I, Robot Sonny head premium DVD set from Japan. Yes, I wanted it that bad and it was worth every penny.

If you really don't want to pay the premium price then yeah, just get the Skynet Edition Blu-ray by itself. Just bear in mind that this not only includes a light-up Endoskull bust; it has the T2: Ultimate Edition and T2: Extreme Edition DVDs (yep, all four DVDs!) to go with the Skynet Edition Blu-ray Disc. That means this premium priced set has nearly all of the extras ever made for T2 except the GNR music video.

Yeah. I've decided I'm going to buy the Skynet Edition. I'll maybe buy the Complete Collector's Set at a much later date. I don't think it's worth right now.
Now if it had all the Terminator movies or at least 1 - 3, this would have been automatic purchase got me. But for just one movie I think I'll wait. Hopefully by then it will be down in price (It was was $87.00 dollars at one time).

I just hope it doesn't go out of print by then.

I am the type of collector that a) if it's a movie I'm willing to buy for my library and b) there is a special collector version of it, I'll get that one every time. Take a look at my collection to see--I have the expensive limited edition sets of BATMAN BEGINS, CASABLANCA, THE DARK KNIGHT, THE DA VINCI CODE, DISTRICT 9, HARRY POTTERs 1, 2 and 6, HELLBOY II, I AM LEGEND, INDIANA JONES 4, IRON MAN, The LORD OF THE RINGS Trilogy, STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS, The VENGEANCE Trilogy, WANTED, two different editions of WATCHMEN, WIZARD OF OZ, and X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE, along with untold numbers of collector's packaging for my nearly 2,000 DVDs and LaserDiscs. All that being said, I passed on this endoskull and went with the regular Skynet edition. Why? The skull is plastic--cheap plastic, too, you can easily see--and every disc in the set that goes beyond the Skynet edition is nothing more than the old DVDs any real T2 fan would have already owned for years (and that could be found easily for $5 for a while now). This release set the high bar for me for price gouging and consumer condescension on the part of a studio, so much so that I just couldn't live with myself if I shelled out $100+ for it. If a day comes when it drops below $50, I could see buying it being justified; as it stands now, the release is a gross embarrassment and anyone who buys it just comes off like a victim of an insidious crime...

It comes down in price from time to time. A couple weeks ago, DeepDiscount.com had it on sale for less than $80 as their deal of the day.

1. the endo bust looks and feels very plastic, which it is. I'd imagine it peeling off at one point. I have one of those I got from Universal Studios and they started peeling. I believe they went for about $10
2. there is an overload of discs! why would you need the blu ray AND the DVD?

if you need an endo bust get one of those 1:1 or 1:2 resin-chromed ones from Sideshow or Hollywood Collectibles

I've seen it in person. Waste of money imo.

They may even have one planned next year for the 20th anniversary anyway.

The disks don't even have cases.

The Endoskull comes with a keepsake case or you can use the Endoskull for storage.

The inclusion of the DVDs also means, as I stated before, that you get nearly all the extras ever made for Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Since these are in standard-definition, it makes sense to just include the DVDs rather than press a BD with these.

So if you could get it for a price like $87 you would be willing to pay that later as a re-purchase but then pay $19 now for just the Blu-Ray? That would just end up being $106 vs the $116 you could just get it now for since like you said there is the OOP risk and the second something like this goes OOP the price will skyrocket.
