Default Akira Trilogy (Christopher Nolan Rumored)

http://www.cosmicbooknews.com/conten...-rumored-akira

Quote:
A few days ago saw Warner Bros. announce Christopher Nolan on a new untitled movie set to open one week prior to the Spider-Man reboot in July 2017.

Now a new rumor has hit suggesting the movie may be Akira.

Akira has been on and off for quite a while, with most recently it said Akira is back on with Leonardo DiCaprio's production company, as well as and Sons of Anarchy and Marvel's Daredevil screenwriter Marco J. Ramirez writing the script.

Now the latest comes from Den Of Geek who states WB is planning an Akira trilogy, which may have Nolan involved.

It's not specifically known how involved Nolan is with Akira (or whether or not it's true), but it's possible Christopher Nolan may be on board, if not as director, then in some sort of producer capacity such as he was with Man of Steel. The report mentions Nolan met with a filmmaker recently who was once attached to Akira to talk about the movie.

As noted, we'll find out soon enough as Nolan's untitled movie is due out in less than two year's time with filming set to commence sooner rather than later.
Did a search couldn't find one for some reason. If there is, please merge.
