who here thinks the first fullmetal alchemist movie ruins part of the original series like the point of the series to me was to get their body's back and be with the friends well the movie says forget our friends they don't matter that movie can go in the bargain bin and rot

To answer the question, no I don't think so.

Even though CoS tried to rationalise the use of alchemy, the emotional core remained intact and I appreciated the fact that they did shed light on the fate of some key characters. Also the production values are quite high and the it is overall well-paced.

Usually, when I don't like a follow-up film/series/etc, I just treat it as AU (ex: that godawful Dead Like Me film )

that's not why i hate it i hate for the fact that ed and al's childhood friend winry
and everyone who they said they come back home for whole again they said
forget you guys you never meant anything to us it.
feels that way anyway and it poisons the series too.
