Default Cat Planet Cuties: Complete Series

Hello all

I'm in the UK and i have two questions about this release:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...A39ICD481JU15Y

1) Is this the censored or uncensored version? The censored version tends to have blinding white lights to cover the naughty bits when they happen. If it is is there a version where it's uncensored?

2) Is it region locked?

1) There's only the one western release and the price is so low, so why does it matter?

2) Yes.

1) I can't stand censorship of any kind, it's diminishes the intent of the makers of the show, sooo does that mean it is censored?

Does it include the OVA?

I get your point, but then there's implication there was any artistic integrity/value to a show called 'Cat Planet Cuties' in the first place.

Though I'm pretty sure you won't find any censorship in anime releases these days besides the Sankarea mix up. I mean maybe if you start rummaging for 90s adult VHS tapes or something but by that point censorship is the least of your worries when it comes to VHS quality
Companies pretty much never release the broadcast cut of a show for home release, as the materials held by the Japanese license holder would almost always be pretty much exclusive to the home release version once it's made (or at least that's as far as they'd be writing up contracts for).

But that's not actually the name of the show. It's Asobi ni Iku yo!

Which translates to 'Let's Go Play!' with a big breasted cat girl on the cover.
Same s*** different smell.
Besides, it's released officially in English as 'Cat Planet Cuties' therefore it is 'Cat Planet Cuties' and nobody should be faulted for calling it by its official English name. Wasn't going to respond over an off-hand joke but correcting someone over which official title is used just doesn't sit right with me.

Not that I'm bashing on the show (re: same s*** comment), I do hear it's quite funny. I mean I doubt it's the next Serial Experiments Lain but it doesn't have to be.

It doesn't matter if you don't perceive any value in the show, it changes the intent and those that do like it want to see the original intended way.

Otherwise no one would have kicked up a fuss over George Lucas and his changes to star wars or anyone whose ever had a problem with cut scenes (like the thread about UK version of Kingsman)

This being an American release i have doubts that it's uncensored as Americans have a huge issue with nudity in a way us Europeans don't have (but violence is fine) just want to make sure what the deal is.

I already have the uncensored rips from Japan but i'd rather have them on disc
