Gator Bait (1973) and Gator Bait 2: Cajun Justice (1988) coming from Terror Vision - Blu-ray Forum

Terror Vision says they received 22 reels for Gator Bait 1 and 2. They may contain alternate versions. They need to scan the reels first to find out what is on them.

A 4K UHD release is undecided at this point. It depends on the condition of the 22 reels they received.

They will also probably be sold together: "Gator Bait will probably be a double feature. This (the Black Cobra movies) will not be."

Never seen either of these films, but I vividly remember being intrigued with the VHS covers of both on the shelf at my local Blockbuster (I was like, 11-12 years old).

I got fired from an early job because of this.
It was working at a video store in a Kroger and I closed one night, then had to open the next morning. Saw this on the shelf and couldn't resist. Figuring no one would or could care. Took it home, watched, and the next day the manager asked if I took a tape with me. I said "Yeah. I closed, no one was going to rent it. I opened, no one missed it. What's the problem?" He said "that's theft" and fired me on the spot. ****ing *******!

I would hate to be as wound up as that guy. Bet he is tons of fun at parties!

I watched the first of these when Joe Bob showed it a few years ago, it's pretty good. Surprised it took this long to get released.

I'm just amazed that Brad was able to get these and Rocktober Blood away from the Sebastians.

Hopefully more will be coming such as American Angels: Baptism of Blood, Flash & Firecat, The Hitchhikers, Running Cool, etc...

I guess they came to their senses and finally realized they weren't actually sitting on a goldmine lol. Hopefully others will follow. Maybe TV can work their magic on the people who own the Prom Night series.

It might've been, but I doubt it. This dude was already an old fat ****.

I should correct my first post, it wasn't a video store in Kroger, it was Kroger's video rental department that was only open from like noon to 8pm each day.
