Zach Snyder's Justice League Nitpick Thread - Blu-ray Forum

I don't want this to turn into a "Crap on the movie thread", so let's have a discussion about how you'd make it better.

I feel like he couldn't decide if he wanted to make this a definitive movie, or the beginning of a saga, so he tried to do both. I guess it all depends on the "plan". If he went into this knowing this is the final time with these characters, I hated the sequel baiting.

Didn't like the score so much

The color grading. Not sure what the point of making a black and white version of the movie, when we're almost there lol.

Did we really need another thread for this? If you hate a movie so much, why waste so much time invested in continuously talking about it? It's not going to change anything.

I never said I hated the movie.

But there are enough "let's splooge all over the movie" thread. I'll stay out of that one if you want to stay out of this one

I'll play along . . . mostly cause I'm at work and I'm not doing much and I like talking about the movie.

I think my biggest nitpick was the Martian Manhunter stuff. It's cool they introduced him, but at the same time the scene with Martha and Lois was quite a good scene, two women who loved Clark struggling with the same thing, the only two people who can possibly understand each other and feel the full gravity of his passing, and then they kind of **** on it by having it be MM instead.

All this. I understand he's an extreme pacifist but he literally could have solved the "angry superman" scene in about 5 seconds.

Fair enough, but I personally never had a problem with anyone criticizing the movie in any of the other threads. I just think we have enough of them for this movie as it is.

Superman had two fights in the Dcu one he barely one the other he died. What exactly are they afraid of. Who aligned with Darkseid witnessed these fights?

This goes a tad bigger than a simple nitpick, but that godawful music that’s like an Amazonian war cry they first used for the Themyscirans and then for Wonder Woman over.....and over...and OVER....and OVER again. Like nails on a chalkboard.

Once was enough, but when they kept using it again, I laughed really loudly. Sounded like something meant for 300, but not as a WW theme. The famous theme from BvS would’ve sufficed and been more impactful even if it was overused by the finale.

Loved it, but definitely agree with the Wonder Woman music.
Didnt enjoy the Martian Manhunter inclusion. Felt like it took away from the power of the Lois/Martha scene, and at the end it’s like what the hell dude, you couldn’t have helped out?
