Probably won't pick it up ever, because it is a really naff film, but for what it's worth, I did enjoy it.

Probably gonna preorder the standard release as I skipped it at cinemas and then if I don't like it I'll be straight down to Cex.

currently Xtra-vision have a discount offer on for 1 week only.

if you apply this code 15OFFMMG you get 15% off any individual item.

Chappie hmv EXCLUSIVE Blu-ray Steelbook (Blu-ray) and reduced it from £22.99 to £19.54 (free uk delivery)

American Sniper hmv EXCLUSIVE Steelbook (Blu-ray) £19.99 down to £16.99 (free uk delivery)

this works on all pre order steels but have found you need to pre-order individually otherwise the discount does not apply to all.

hope some-one find this useful

Nice, that would make the Birdman artcards exclusive £15.29 delivered (only 30p more than most places for the regular edition). That said, can you cancel pre-orders quite easily with them? I still don't know if I want to buy Birdman on day-one (or if I definitely want the exclusive slipcover/artcards).

yes they take a few days to reply as you have to send a message stating you want to cancel but they are open only mon-fri for messages...they are based in Ireland.

as an example i cancelled my copy of Exodus: Gods and Kings 3D steelbook last Friday and got a reply Monday morning.
looked in my account and it was shown as cancelled.

for some reason the HMV Exodus: Gods and Kings 3D is missing the bonus disc yet every where including amazon Amaray includes it...very strange.

by the way hmv rarely drop prices on new stuff for literally ages so using that 15% is probably the cheapest option for at least 6-8 months thats if it doesn't sell out.

Well the in-store price is reportedly less than £17.99 (think it was between £12.99 and £14.99), and I reckon it'd actually go into the 2 for £25 a week or two after release (especially considering it's a Fox title, who have done a lot of promotions with HMV after they went into administration). So I reckon it won't necessarily hold its price but it might go OOP (I expect it's limited).

They should put Die Antwoord all over the cover (since the film is basically an advert for them).

I'm sure it would sell by the bucketload then*.

*Not.

My HMV exclusive Steelbook of Chappie came through this morning in cardboard packaging. In perfect condition.

I've tried to attach some photos. Hope they show up! It comes with the bonus disc.
