Was at Walmart today and found the pre-order for Despicable Me 2 with a minion included. I think the price was around $25.00, but not sure. To bad that they did not allow for the 3D ordering . The price for the DM2 included (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy + UltraViolet).

So preorders are coming out sooner and sooner lately…..do you think studios will ever offer a digital copy or ultraviolet copy w/the preorder that can be activated a couple of months before the movie’s home video release??

Just preordered my copy from Amazon. $19.99 for the 3D combo pack on release day is a great deal.

Looking forward to seeing this in theaters soon with my free movie ticket from the Despicable Me blu-ray.

Edit: Looks like it might have been a pricing mistake. The 3D version is no longer available for preorder and the 2D version is priced at $23.99.

I just noticed this too and I was considering pre-ordering it. Hopefully it comes back up at $19.99.

If it was a pricing mistake, will Amazon honor the $19.99 price for those that placed their orders already?

it's back up on the site now at 34.99, but i am more interested in the german amazon exclusive preorder. which is the 1st 2 movies in a amazon exclusive limited edition, for around 40 something shipped but doesn't come out till december

Darn, that was a good deal for those that got it. I did think that $19.99 was really cheap for the 3D combo pack, so I was going to pre-order but I just missed it.

i could have gotten it but i figured it was the standard price for the 3d combo, at no time did i think or feel that it was a price mistake or else i might have placed a hold on the price

20 or so seems like the average price for 3d combo pk's on release date, maybe

now if it went to 14.99 i would jump on it in a heartbeat

I have never seen any Blu-ray 3D go for just 19,99 on release day. I think 24,99 to 29,99 seems more like the average to me. Everything below seems like a great deal. I only scored cheaper deals for some Disney blu-rays for which either Amazon.com had coupons or DeepDiscount had some early preorder deal.

That is why at 19,99 US-Dollar I did not hesitate and preordered Despicable Me 2. I live in Germany and even with shipping that is a great deal :-).

I didn't think it was a pricing mistake when I pre-ordered, but thought it was an insanely good price for a 3D new release (seeing as the first one is $19.99 now) -- so I jumped, and I'm glad I did.
