As with Venom, Sony has decided to only release Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse on 3D Blu-ray in a limited number of countries, once again not including the UK or USA. All 3D releases are REGION FREE and include the original English audio track.
The only primarily English-speaking country that got a 3D edition was Australia, but there are a few other options if you don't want to import from there. Please note however that the French, German, Spanish and Mexican versions have on-screen text (comic book captions etc) in the local language and NOT in English, so are not recommended for English speakers. Note: The Spanish and Mexican 3D discs are actually English-friendly but the 2D discs have Spanish on-screen text so again, it's best to avoid those. If you're going to buy a European edition, the Italian version has been confirmed as 100% English-friendly as have the Czech and Nordic editions. The Indian, Japanese and Hong Kong editions are also English-friendly. ![]() ![]() ![]() Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 4K + 3D Blu-ray ![]() Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 3D Blu-ray ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The 3D Blu-ray is also available in the Czech Republic, Japan and there was a Hong Kong release too. The Miles Morales version of Spiderman is pure garbage and was only created because of the election of President Obama. This was one of the first steps to PC comics.

Breathtaking stuff.
Very cutting edge look they've developed with the animation here. There's a bold sophistication and an originality to these visuals that I absolutely love. I wasn't interested because I felt like I'd seen enough Spiderman movies and it was all getting a bit tired, but they changed my mind. |

Wow, the style as others have mentioned, looks awesome for this animated Spider-Man 3D movie. Sony Animation, responsible for Open Season and the Smurfs movies, will hopefully offer stronger 3D as with Open Season 3D for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 3D.
Looks promising and I'll keep an open mind for this rarely seen version of Spider-Man. I like how they mention Real D 3D already, with a year to go before it's theatrical release. ![]() |

I like Miles . I do hate the PC Marvel agenda right now but I dont include Miles as that.
I dont like the new MS Marvel at all. and ther are other books that are just shoved with PC junk. Its why DC is selling more books right now. |

I didn't know cartoons could be breathtaking. That and his head is too big for his body. I did like the scene where the animation switched back and forth from comic book to cartoon.
I don't think this is really PC so much as it is the unwillingness of the "creative" team to create something new. Too much risk. Better to use a known popular character and redo the backstory. |

Whatever reason the character was created, it still has potential to be a cool Spider-Man animated film in 3D, moving beyond the origin reason. I'm sure many super hero characters were based on the events of their time, including Captain America.

Animation looks great. Hopefully it's good. Sony is really going "all in" in the Spidey-verse.
I'm not familiar with the Miles Morales take on Spiderman, but I can't help but notice the asymmetrical responses to criticism of changing a character's race. Somehow it's "racist" to be against it in this case but "woke" when people call for a boycott of 'Ghost in the Shell' when ScarJo is cast as a Cyborg (and a Cyborg's body who's "race" was certainly ambiguous in the original anime at that). Or the recent withdrawal of Ed Skrein from the Hellboy film because he was going to play a villain who was originally Asian in the comic book. My point would be you can't really complain when people expect the same rules to apply to all groups. If you hold one group to one standard and other groups to a completely different standard there is naturally going to be a push back. When you try to rationalize the difference in standards you inevitably fall into a hole of slippery logic and mental gymnastics. IMO the creators and rights holders can do whatever they like. They own the property, their money. All I can do is watch the final product with an open mind. Last edited by Rui; 12-12-2017 at 10:11 PM. |

In terms of animation, we will see what they do with this. But comics started going PC and it really started here, it only got worse in the future. It has hurt the industry, no doubt about it. Stan Lee himself said he approved of Morales because it's their part in making the world color blind. http://thekingdominsider.com/marvel-...-decline-2017/ |
