Cube Trilogy? - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone have heard if the Cube movies will be released on BD in a near future?

This are three movies that i really love and really would like to have on BD.

I just tried searching google as I'm also interested in this being released, I think it would look great on Blu-Ray and unlike most, I liked all three movies.

I can't see them being released but I'm sure some HD channels have shown them.

Yeah have googled for it also but dont find anything either.

Would be nice to get a trilogy set of this one

I would love to have the original cube film on BD. never cared much for the others, but I love the original.

The original Cube (1997) is set to be released on BD in Japan on 21st of April 2010.

I have all 3 on DVD, and I really wouldn't mind upgrading them to BD. Lionsgate needs to wake up and release these asap.

FYI: A thread on the Wish Lists forum mentions a new barebones Dutch BD of Cube (Dutch subtitles only) that was released last week.

An online shop named Proxis stocks the title, and has an English interface. Has anyone had experience ordering from them? I know FreeRecordShop is recommended, but they don't ship to my country.

I'm also interested in the first one. There's a Spanish release but I haven't found any info on it as far as quality and region coding.

Has anybody purchased this or any other blu-ray version of this movie?

I recently broke down and bought all 3 on DVD. That pretty much guarantees that they'll be announced for blu-ray very soon.

I've seen the first two. I liked the first one. Thought it was quite original. Number two really didn't do much for me at all. Didn't know there was a #3. Would like to give it a viewing. Will have to look for it on cable.

It's not that great.... Cube Zero, supposed to be a prequel of sorts.

Looks like it will one of those Icon Double Packs (Similar to Open Graves / 100 Feet).

It appears on the Icon Australia Release Sheets (available to account holders on image.net) They have no other details suffice to say that it will be M rated, a double pack featuring the film Cypher and released on the 5th of August along with Blu-ray's of The Descent 2, Swingers, Basic and Unearthed (which will also include a bonus film Altered) As soon as any more details come I shall post them here
