Is there international shipping? Probably not.

I really hope Best Best Canada announces one... WITH A TITLE ON THE DAMN SPINE!

You'd risk having to pay £8 Royal Mail fee and around £4 in VAT if you imported to UK so I've ordered from Film Arena instead as it's within Europe.

Not bad at all. The Canadian dollar is fairly close to the Australian dollar too... even after conversion fees. So... this may be an option!

As always, it's without a 3D disc.

Depending on the cover situation in the US I'll probably be getting a few slipcover variations from there, and depending on the art for this I might get it in addition to some of the others, but it's frustrating they never include 3D in our steelbook editions for Marvel movies. I choose to blame Australia for this and we get stuck with the decision here as well.

It's interesting they changed it from an August release date, but at least I don't have to be tortured seeing it in stores but not buying it locally since I'm getting it from the US, last time I had to wait over a month, it was awful.

Not sure that's correct, we've had many happy members from the UK purchasing from JB here in Australia before, for example... https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...199557&page=27 . Besides which, if you limit yourself to European retailers only then you'll tend to miss out on the Novamedia, Blufans, Kimchi, Plain Archive, and other wonderful offerings from outside Europe...(And don't get me started on the Film Arena experience.)

Also, too true Petra's comments on the Aussie/Canadian dollar conversion. When I'm looking to buy an American Region A release I look to buy from Canada first now because of the high US dollar.

Easy pass unless price is really cheap since there's no 3D disc. Should be plenty of copies available so during the next 20% off deal, I'll re-consider.

Yeah, if I did end up getting it, I'd definitely wait for a sale, there's no way I'd pay full price for it. I ended up getting the IM3, Thor Dark World, and Winter Soldier steelbooks with 20% off recently (had already bought their 3D included counterparts during initial release) and they're nice, and since I'd be getting 3D with a different version that part wouldn't matter.

Since Disney don't put titles on the spines as well, I'm wondering if it'll just be the main 6 Avengers, Ultron, and maybe Fury on this one. It's starting to get packed on there.

Wait a minute... Australia was also doing the "no title spine" bullshit as well? But they aren't Europe and their main language is English! It makes no sense to have no title on the spine! In Europe it makes sense so they can market to so many varying languages with one design for so many countries.

If that's the case (pun intended) then this will vanish VERY quickly from my potential purchase options list.

I didn't know that was the reason they don't include titles. But no, they haven't been on the Aussie steelbooks starting with The Dark World. IM3 was the last of them to get one, there's no titles on any of the cases either.

Yup, I've been there. It stands for:
- Deliriously expensive shipping,
- Don't ever refund,
- Delivery on occasion.

The steelbook isn't showing on the NZ JB website, so I emailed them and they've confirmed NZ is, yet again, not getting the Avengers movie steelbook. Which I don't understand in the slightest being that we've gotten all of the Phase 2 JB exclusive steelbooks (Ant Man is still yet to be seen though).

It's utterly bizarre that we missed out on the original Avengers one, and now Ultron. And I'm miffed because, while I'm definitely getting at least one US version, depending on the cover options available, I was wanting to pick up the Aussie SB because I like the characters on the side. Now I'll have to get one from Oz if I want it, which will definitely end up more expensive, unless they have an amazing sale.

I just don't get JB (NZ?) and the decisions they make.

Yeah, I saw that about a week ago and pre-ordered it, lol. At least the shipping is only $4.25 which isn't bad at all. I do like how it has the character faces on the spine instead of the title, so that's a bonus of getting this version as opposed to the US one.

It's down to $32.98 now which is great. Wonder if it'll drop again at all before release? I'm thinking not, but I also thought that when it was $34.98.

My GOTG steel I preordered from jbhifi came down in price before shipping. The character cards were cool that came with GOTG, but these art cards look nice, can't wait.
