Has anyone here ever bought from SinisterCinema.com? I'm curious about the quality of their transfers for their catalog titles. More specifically if they use the "VHS" type transfers on their DVD's. I don't mind a little print damage here and there on a film transfer but the VHS blurry quality really sinks the movie watching experience for me.
They seem to charge quite a bit more(~$10) over the bargain DVD's of the same titles on amazon which usually tend to be really bad VHS scans to DVD. I'd like to load up on some older films for october but can't get a hold of their quality. I've searched around the net but have found nothing specific. An example title would be something like Murder Mansion (1972). The customer reviews on Amazon for it talk about super poor video quality and its about $7 new. Sinister has it for about $17. Thanks! |
