Default Amazon $18 Aladdin's Sequals Credit, Works With DCP+ Codes

FYI... if you have a Digital Copy Plus Code for either Aladdin and the King of Thieves or Aladdin: The Return of Jafar.

Amazon is offering a $18 Amazon Video Credits - Disney's Aladdin Sequels to get the other movie for about $2.

Aladdin and the King of Thieves http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0134CGD3I

Return of Jafar http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0155H94OK

Amazon Small Print: This offer ends at 11:59 p.m. (PT) on Monday, March 28, 2016. The offer is restricted to HD versions. The credits will be automatically applied to your account. Customers are encouraged to confirm credit application before purchasing the second title. Credits must by redeemed by Thursday, April 28, 2016.

Here was my transaction steps.
My Disney Movie Anywhere and Disney Movie Reward accounts are linked to Amazon.
I had a $1 digital credit in Amazon already.
DMR Rewards were already used on the code.

Redeemed Aladdin and the King of Thieves on DCP+ site by choosing Amazon as the redeem site.

Once redeemed, I got 150Pts in DMR since codes are converted to digital credits.

I checked my digital credit account and I did receive the $18 credit for Aladdin: The Return of Jafar.

Went ahead and purchased the title with the $19 credits i had and paid about .97 cents.

Once redeemed I also received another 150pts on DMR for this title.

I think this is common. Your title is misleading. I thought you were saying that the credit could be used toward any Disney movie that had a Digital Copy Plus code. Like that $18 credit could be applied to Snow White or something other than the sequel for Aladdin.

Regardless its pointless to buy this now, we already now that they are going to release the sequels on BD to the public soon (within next few months), its already out on DMC, and that it has a code for both sequels.

You are essentially paying $22 on amazon for a digital only copy, when if you are willing to wait you will probably be able to buy a $20 bluray+tax, and get them both plus the discs.

Each to their own I guess regardless.

He's talking about using one of the digital copy plus portions from either movie with Amazon and getting the extra credit for the other movie.

But why would you don't you get both copies for the movie with the code?

I mean i guess bonus $150 points for $2 if its worth it to you.

You only need one dc+ portion and $2 for both movies. You can sell/trade the other dc+ portion and both dmr/dma portions.

Seems weird to me that they break up the codes individually. I would think one code would be both movies.

It is what it is lol. Two codes and four redemptions, each redemption can get you both movies. DC+ requires amazon redemption and an extra $2. Also, the Amazon promotion ends March.

i redeemed one dmr portion for both titles, and was coming on here to find out if the other code would give both movies or just points to someone else.

I know this is late, but I got my copy from eBay today. Each individual code gives both movies. I redeemed one and gave the other to a friend. We both got both digital copies.
