I ordered mine in May from Yesasia.

Does anyone know what the problem was? Because I bought it several weeks after the recall was announced, I don't know if I have the recalled version, or the replacement.

I got my order from KimchiDVD on June 2nd. It only came with the replacements of Haemoo and The Pirates. I asked why I didn't get The Fatal Encounter replacement and they said that it wasn't made yet. I haven't watched it, so I don't know what the problem is.

I watched my copy and didn't notice anything wrong... but maybe it's the type of thing that would be annoying when you know about it.

I think it was "Masquerade" that they issued a replacement disc, but my original didn't seem to have the encoding error as shown.

I watched it last night (very good movie, by the way - not great, but very good). I did notice some white lines flash at the very bottom of the screen at around 1:55 and few minutes later.

I just got a note from Yesasia informing me the replacement disc should be available in August.

Update:

The replacement disc arrived. It's blue colored instead of gold, so it's easy to tell it apart from the original pressing.

I all ready got mine and have had no instruction from Yesasia about a recall. They really should contact us who preordered discs. To be fair though I never noticed anything when I watched it, Pirates or Haemoo. I'll check for these lines at 1:55 to see if I too have that problem though it sounds like it isn't critical like the MoM first press.
