A little bit upset they chose to release this over the upcoming Lisandro Alonso film Jauja. Guess it was a toss-up between a Michael Winterbottom film and one starring Viggo Mortensen, but what I've heard from several respectable reviewers is that this Winterbottom one's not very good, and Jauja is very good (and Soda confirmed it's only getting a DVD release). But hey, that's their decision to make, and I'm sure it wasn't one or the other anyway...just a little bitter about it!

UPDATE: I've since seen Jauja...and it's one of the best films of the year. DVD out next week.

Yes, hard-of-hearing subtitles are included.

I'm a huge Winterbottom fan, just watched this on the Canadian Soda BD, which came out last week and just arrived from Amazon.ca today.

FYI, for anyone who's wondering, the Canadian and UK discs are identical. The Canadian disc actually has the UK ratings logo on it, and when you start it, you choose Canada or UK on the menu.

This means the disc is region-free, and obviously extras are identical.

- trailer
- 5 mins of b-roll footage from the set
- 3 extremely brief deleted scenes, about a minute each
- interviews with Winterbottom, Brühl, Beckinsale and Delevingne, each 4-5 mins

Subs - 2 options - English for just the Italian portions (default), or English hard-of-hearing.

Fantastic film. It will appear on my Top Ten list at the end of the year.
Beautiful release from Soda. The disc is encoded for the UK and Canadian markets.

Do not miss it.

They are very wrong -- though everyone is entitled to have one.

The script is superb and reveals exactly what has become of contemporary journalism. A lot of people that covered the Trayvon Martin case and the Ferguson riots should be required to see it.
